Next Hitch for iPhone · Effective September 30, 2026

Short version: everything you put into Next Hitch stays on your iPhone. We don't collect it, we can't see it, and we don't share or sell anything.

This policy explains how Next Hitch (the "app"), made by VW Enterprises LLC ("we", "us"), handles information. If you have questions, email contact@vwe.llc.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no account, no sign-in, and no servers of ours. Your rotations, the days you change, the names of people you follow, and your pay settings are stored only on your device. We have no way to access them.

The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking code, and no third-party software that collects data.

Information the app uses on your device

Some features use information on your iPhone, only when you use them and only on the device:

Sharing your rotation

When you share your rotation, the app makes a link (and QR code) that contains your rotation, the name you entered, and your recent changes to days, including their notes. The information is inside the link itself; it isn't uploaded or stored by us. Anyone you send the link to, or who sees it, can view that information.

The rotation is in the part of the link after the # sign, which web browsers never send to a website. If the link is opened in a browser, the browser loads a page from our website, vwe.llc, without that part. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles basic connection information such as your IP address to deliver the page. We don't add analytics or tracking to it.

Pages you print or send

If you use Pro to make a page of your year, the PDF or image goes only where you choose to send, save or print it.

Purchases

Next Hitch Pro is sold through Apple's App Store, as a one-time purchase or a yearly subscription. Apple handles payment and renewals, and we never receive your payment details. The app checks with Apple whether you have Pro on your Apple Account. Apple provides us with sales reports that don't identify you.

Crash reports and diagnostics

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may send us anonymized crash reports and usage statistics. These don't include the information you store in the app. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Backups

Like most apps, Next Hitch's data is included in your iPhone backups (iCloud Backup or a backup on your computer) if you use them. Those backups are handled by Apple under your Apple Account, and we can't access them.

Contacting us

If you email us or use the form on our website, we use what you send only to reply to you.

Deleting your data

You can remove any person, rotation or change in the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. Events it added to the Calendar app stay there until you turn that feature off in the app, or delete them in Calendar. Because we don't hold any of your data, there's nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children

Next Hitch isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information a company holds about you. We don't hold any personal information from the app, but you're welcome to contact us with any request or question.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
