Privacy Policy

Fond for iPhone · Effective September 24, 2026

Short version: everything you put into Fond stays on your iPhone. We don't collect it, we can't see it, and we don't share or sell anything.

This policy explains how Fond (the "app"), made by VW Enterprises LLC ("we", "us"), handles information. If you have questions, email contact@vwe.llc.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no account, no sign-in, and no servers of ours. The people, notes, dates, contact details, photos and interaction history you add are stored only on your device. We have no way to access them.

The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking code, and no third-party software that collects data.

Information the app uses on your device

Some features use information on your iPhone, only when you use them and only on the device:

• Contacts. When you import from Contacts, you choose people in Apple's contact picker. The app copies the details of the people you pick (such as names, phone numbers, email and mailing addresses, birthdays, related names and photos) into the app. It can't see anyone you didn't pick.
• Camera and photos. If you add a profile photo, the app uses the camera (with your permission) or the photo you choose. Photos are saved in the app on your device.
• Phone calls. When you call someone from their page in the app, iOS tells the app whether that call connected and when it ended, so the call can be added to that person's history. The app can't see who you call, can't hear or record calls, and can't read your call history.
• Notifications. Daily reminders are scheduled on your device. No reminder content is sent to us.

Purchases

Fond Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never receive your payment details. The app checks with Apple whether Pro has been purchased on your Apple Account. Apple provides us with sales reports that don't identify you.

Crash reports and diagnostics

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may send us anonymized crash reports and usage statistics. These don't include the information you store in the app. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Backups

Like most apps, Fond's data is included in your iPhone backups (iCloud Backup or a backup on your computer) if you use them. Those backups are handled by Apple under your Apple Account, and we can't access them.

You can also save a backup file from the app's Settings. It contains everything you've added to the app, including photos. You choose where it's saved or who it's shared with, and we never receive a copy.

Links to other apps

Tapping a phone number, email address, mailing address or website in the app opens Phone, Messages, Mail, Maps or your web browser. What happens there is covered by those apps' own privacy policies.

Deleting your data

You can delete any person, note or date in the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. Because we don't hold any of your data, there's nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children

Fond isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information a company holds about you. We don't hold any personal information from the app, but you're welcome to contact us with any request or question.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
