Privacy Policy

Our Season for iPhone · Effective October 9, 2026

Short version: your family's information stays on your iPhones and in your own iCloud. We don't collect it, we can't see it, and we don't share or sell anything.

This policy explains how Our Season (the "app"), made by VW Enterprises LLC ("we", "us"), handles information. If you have questions, email contact@vwe.llc.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no account, no sign-in, and no servers of ours. Your kids' names, teams, schedules, stats, scores, photos and videos, places, rosters, notes and expenses are stored on your devices and in iCloud, as described below. We have no way to access them.

The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking code, and no third-party software that collects data.

Information about your kids

The app is for parents and other grown-ups to use; it isn't meant to be used by children. The information you enter about your kids, such as first names, teams, stats and photos, belongs to you. It's never sent to us, and it's shared only with the family members you invite.

iCloud and sharing with your family

The app keeps your family's information in sync through Apple's iCloud, in the iCloud account of the person who started the family. What you type in is stored there with end-to-end encryption, which means Apple can't read it either. Photos, videos and receipt photos are stored in that same iCloud.

When you invite someone, Apple's iCloud sharing gives them access to your family's information, or view-only access if you choose. Anyone you invite can see the kids, schedule, stats, photos, places, rosters and expenses. You can see and remove people under People and Access on the Family tab, and anyone can leave a family they joined.

If you don't use iCloud, the app keeps everything on your iPhone only.

Information the app uses on your device

Some features use information on your iPhone, only when you use them:

• Camera, microphone and photos. Used only when you take or choose a photo or video of a game, a place or a receipt. Videos you record include sound. Only the photos and videos you pick are added; the app can't see the rest of your library.
• Notifications. Reminders and schedule-change alerts are scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
• Widgets. The app keeps a small copy of what's coming up on your device so its widgets can show it.
• Apple Calendar (Pro). If you turn on adding games and practices to Apple Calendar, the app asks for access to your calendars. It keeps its own "Our Season" calendar and only ever changes events in it. If that calendar syncs with iCloud or another account, those events are stored by that provider.

Services the app connects to

• Team calendar links (Pro). If you paste a calendar link from a team app such as TeamSnap, GameChanger or SportsEngine, your iPhone downloads that calendar directly from that company's server, the same way Safari would. That company receives the request, including your IP address, under its own privacy policy. Nothing is sent to us.
• Apple Maps. When you search for a rink, gym or field, the search goes to Apple Maps.
• Fond. If you use "Remember in Fond" on a teammate, the app passes that teammate's name and notes to our Fond app on the same iPhone. Nothing leaves your iPhone.

Exports you send

If you export expenses as a spreadsheet (Pro), or share a photo or video, it goes only where you choose to send or save it.

Purchases

Our Season Pro is sold through Apple's App Store, as a one-time purchase or a yearly subscription. Apple handles payment and renewals, and we never receive your payment details. The app checks with Apple whether you have Pro, and notes in your family's shared settings that Pro is on, so everyone in your family gets it. Apple provides us with sales reports that don't identify you.

Crash reports and diagnostics

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may send us anonymized crash reports and usage statistics. These don't include the information you store in the app. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Backups

Like most apps, Our Season's data on your iPhone is included in your iPhone backups (iCloud Backup or a backup on your computer) if you use them. Those backups are handled by Apple under your Apple Account, and we can't access them.

Contacting us

If you email us or use the form on our website, we use what you send only to reply to you.

Deleting your data

You can remove any kid, team, game, photo, place or expense in the app. If you started the family, Delete All Data on the Family tab removes everything from your iPhone and from iCloud, including for everyone you shared with. If you joined a family, Leave Family removes it from your iPhone. Deleting the app removes what it stored on that iPhone. Because we don't hold any of your data, there's nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children

Our Season is meant for adults. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information a company holds about you. We don't hold any personal information from the app, but you're welcome to contact us with any request or question.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
